It is common for the new Xbox 360 Slim dvd drive tracks to stick partially open, if they are hit or knocked wrong while open. If this is the case, we can take apart the system and realign the track so that it fully functions again. This usually takes about an hour.

Xbox 360 Slim Laser Replacement - $55
If your Xbox 360 Slim has stopped reading discs the laser has most likely gone out and needs to be replaced. In this case, we will take apart the system and replace the DVD Drive Laser with a new laser lens. This takes about an hour.

RROD - $45
The "red ring of death" is a common problem that is usually associated with either overheating, or the gpu separating from the heat sink. In this case, we will perform a professional reflow to your system, as well as utilizing performing what is commonly called the "x-clamp" fix. All of our Reflow Repairs are done using an official reflow station, in order to control the amount, temperature, direction, and area of the heat flow to the motherboard of your gaming system. This repair takes about an hour and a half to two hours. More specifically, we do the following...
* Take apart the system down to the motherboard
* Clean off all thermal compound
* Clean system thoroughly
* Heat motherboard to a temperature at which the affected chip will re-seat itself (using proper reflow techniques and official reflow station, not having the system plugged in - which risks damaging other parts of motherboard)
* Re-apply high quality thermal compound to a specific area
* Put system back together, replacing the x-clamps with non-flexible hardware
* Test system with customer present

Reballing
Reballing is the process of removing the chip, that is either bridged or burnt, from the motherboard and removing all the solder balls from the chip. We then replace the all the solder balls and place it back on the motherboard. This process will need to be done if a simple reflow does not work, or if you would rather do this to begin with. Reballing makes the system run like new, as the solder contacts are fully connected to the motherboard. And it is the most effective, longest lasting repair that can be done to a system. This repair can take up to a day.

DVD Drive Issues
Laser Adjustment / Cleaning - $25:
The laser in your dvd drive is something that can get out of wack over time, or from being bumped or interrupted in some way. Or sometimes it just needs a thorough cleaning. This takes about 45 minutes to an hour. In this case we will do the following...
* Take apart the system, down to the DVD Drive
* Take apart DVD drive, to expose the laser
* Clean off the laser lens thoroughly
* Test the voltage of the laser pots
* Adjust the laser pots as needed

DVD Drive Motor / Laser Replacement - $45:
Sometimes your DVD drive laser or motor will go out. The most common issue, if your console is not reading discs, is the laser going out. In this case we will replace your DVD Drive Laser with a new Laser Lens. This takes about 45 minutes to an hour. The less common issue is the motor going out. In this case, we replace your DVD Drive Motor with a new motor. This takes about 45 minutes to an hour.
