The "yellow light of death" is a common problem that is usually associated with overheating. In this case, we will perform a professional reflow to your system. All of our Reflow Repairs are done using an official reflow station, in order to control the amount, temperature, direction, and area of the heat flow to the motherboard of your gaming system. This repair takes about an hour and a half to two hours. More specifically, we do the following...
* Take apart the system down to the motherboard
* Clean off all thermal compound
* Clean system thoroughly
* Heat motherboard to a temperature at which the affected chip will re-seat itself (using proper reflow techniques and official reflow station, not having the system plugged in - which risks damaging other parts of motherboard)
* Re-apply high quality thermal compound to a specific area
* Put system back together
* Test system with customer present

Blu-ray Drive Issues
Laser Replacement & Installation - $100-$120:
The laser in your Blu-ray drive is something that is common to go out. This can happen due to a faulty Firmware update, or sometimes it is a weak laser that doesn't last as long as others. This takes about 30-45 minutes. In this case we will do the following...
* Take apart the system, down to the Blu-ray Drive
* Take apart Blu-ray drive, to expose the laser
* Replace the Blu-ray laser in your Drive

Blu-ray Drive Replacement:
Sometimes your Blu-ray drive will quit working, and maybe the motor isn't even taking the disc in. This could be something on the motherboard that would need extra attention, or you could just need a new drive. In this case, we would order the drive for you, and install it when it arrives. This takes about 15 minutes.
Firmware Updating - $25
If your system is in need of a firmware update, which we will diagnose for you, we will install the latest firmware on your system. This helps your system run more smoothly, and helps the overall processes that your system goes through, as well as gameplay. This process takes about 20 minutes.

Hard Drive Transfer / Back-Up - $25
If you are replacing your hard drive, and want to transfer all your data, we will transfer it over for you. Or perhaps you just want a back-up of all your data on an external hard drive, we can do that for you as well. This takes about 20 minutes to two hours.
