Data Recovery / Transfer - Starting at $25
If your Hard Drive has crashed, or your computer will no longer turn on, we can attempt to retrieve the data off the Hard Drive. This can take anywhere from an hour to overnight, depending on how much is stored on the drive and how damaged it is. We charge $25 and up depending on the size of the hard drive and the amount of data. If you need data transferred from one drive to another, we charge $25-$45, depending on the amount of data. For a more accurate quote please bring in the hard drive or computer.
Hardware Installation / Upgrades - $20-$80 plus cost of part (if purchased by Edge Tech)
This includes RAM, Harddrive, disc drives, video card, sound card, etc. Most Hardware installation only takes about 20 minutes. Video cards tend to take a little longer as the installation process is more complex.
Reinstallation of Operating System - $55
This will clean out all programs and viruses, as well as help with the performance of your computer. When the operating system is reinstalled, we will also take the time to make sure all drivers are reinstalled to ensure that all parts of your computer are functioning properly. We do recommend backing up all needed files on external storage devices, as we are not responsible for lost files. This process takes about 2-3 hours to complete (depending on speed of computer & system).

Virus Removal - $45-$75
This will remove any unwanted viruses and spyware on your computer. This will ensure your computer's privacy and secure, proper functioning. We will also install a free anti-virus program that receives updates regularily.
System Optimization - $35
If your computer has slowed down, this will help with its performance. This includes removing unwanted programs, making sure the hard drive is in good running condition, and more. This process takes about an hour to complete.

We will setup your home or small office network, with printers, so your files can be shared / linked between all your computers. This usually takes about 1-2 hours. We will come to your location to do this (within 20 miles).

Overheating Repair - Starting at $55
In order to repair an overheating issue, most likely the cause of a random shutdown, we take apart the system down to the motherboard. We then remove the heatsinks that transfer heat from the GPU/CPU, remove the thermal compound, and reflow the solder under the affected chip to a specific temperature at which it can reconnect to the board. We then put new, high-quality thermal compound on the chip, and put the system back together. This process takes about 1-2 hours. Please call or bring in system for specific pricing.
Thermal Compound Replacement - $30-$55
We will take apart your computer or laptop, remove the old thermal paste, and replace it with new, top of the line thermal compound. This is good to do at least once a year. It helps keep your computers running at optimal speed and temperature.
